I actually read that some Dutch researchers had found out that for women the chance of getting an orgasm increased quite a bit if her feet were warm. 50% of women had an orgasm without socks on and 80% of the women had an orgasm with socks on. The researchers said that the heat from the socks calmed down areas of the brain so they became relaxed.

If the sex is good, her feet are already hot, sweaty, and her toes are curling into the sheets as her back arches off the bed. If she needs socks, someone is doing it wrong.

Ha! I love that dose of reality.
I'm not married, but a friend who is once told me,
"Honestly, it's so hard to care about sex anymore, so it's just easier if we remove as little clothing as possible"
She was explaining how she doesn't even bother to take her PJs off for sex anymore because it's too much of a hassle.
"The most convenient moment for a man to take his socks off before engaging in sex. If the Sock Gap is missed, then the man will end up naked except for his socks, which will ruin the mood."
Apparently it doesn't ruin the mood for everyone...
