One of the important thing about bdsm is the fact that safe words should be a word which is never said during the act...."I like you" is definitely not it-

    Umm actually, safe words are supposed to be something that turns you off. Since their relation startes on a no-love basis and if the dom never develops feeling for the sub, hearing it can turn you off

    I don't think....never heard it should be something that turns u off. Let's say that it's supposed to be that. Even then "ilu" can turn someone on who knows. There's no guarantee.

    It turns some people on but its on you to decide if you can get turned on by it or no. Its not like Ilu isn't a safe word just because the mass is turned on by it
