U think it's the fact that it's just soooo well written. The emotions are so raw and real like you can understand the author took their time with each and everyone of the characters background and emotions. instead of just the main one and just skiming through the side characters back story like most authors

ngl I stopped reading at the beginning of Yeonwoo getting bullied and waited a long time to come back so I could skim it, then I had to skim Haesol and Haesoo’s abuse too (Idk why — I can read some of the darkest stuff but this story is just really hard for me to read in regards to the dark stuff) but im glad i came back
