No, I think it's been established that Ken is the true person of the moon because he has their definitive characteristics:
- his hair shines golden during night
- he was able to calm down Agia during the Red Moon
- Cain is w/him & only he can see & interact w/him
I believe the previous person of the moon were unable to do any of these & only Ken was able to
....come to think of it, Ken & Agia's hesitation & confusion on the whether to fulfill the prophecy or not is because, since they're the first to actually meet the requirements, no one knows what will actually happen if they proceed w/it.
Unfortunately, the risks are so grave that they don't want to push thru it, but circumstances are pushing them to fulfill it / establishing that it's currently the only method they have to actually move things forward / change the status quo of their society (w/c is shown to be something that must changed as it is hinted to be bulit on lies & sacrifices & exploitation)
.... so Agia's plans r his effort of changing Aman while circumventing the prophecy
....what's fun is, despite our omniscient viewpoint, even we, the audience, don't know what the right action is or if what our main cast is doing will be fruitful or a descent into a greater tragedy /chaos -> w/c is relatively uncommon
(Also, maybe the author kept us in the dark so that we can also experience the confusion & hesitation of the characters, esp how they can't fully understand what & why the others r doing what they do)
*sry for the super long reply & if I was stating the obvious. It's just my way of processing what I read
ok please explain to me why can’t Agia leave with Ken? I forgot so much stuff overtime
What would happen to him if he escaped with Ken?
