not sure if you’ve read this but it’s similar to how he still acknowledges the original owner of the body and tried to find out what happened as well
i have read that and it did it well, but what this one does that i love is that the ML also knows/discovers that its a new person inside the body, and misses the old person
its quite interesting bcause ive never seen a story where mc takes over a body that isnt his old one, and they actually acknowledge the former "owner". Usually they just say "well hes dead and gone but im here now" and even that isnt always
