ye basically like "sura's lover" ending where it ended and no one got what they truly wanted at the end
That story emotionally drained me. I forgot about it but yes, everything was going to end badly either way.
This could have been a great tragedy with an open ending or just not be together at all. They could have been one of those miserable couples that never get their chance in love and just repeat the circle of pain. Not every story needs a happy ending, this had the potencial to be that kind. The forced happy ending is ridiculous with all damage the ML caused in past and present life.
This needs a side story with a different final.
