I thought that was real. Hahah But, yeah, your theory is possible, considering that he's his only guide. Death might indeed be his fate in that timeline and that would fuck me off. I like that future Wui-wu, and so is the current one, but I just felt like the future Wui-wu was robbed. Imagine your pillar being gone and up one day that you do not know where, when, why, and how.
