do you really not see as abuse coercing someone into having sex? or what about rimming them when they explicitly said they didn't want to? or forcing someone down (more than once) so you can have sex with them? do you not see that as abuse? even the Brown haired boy is abusive, he is decieving and manipulative, but the mc is too and way more

I guess I never saw it that way. I’ve always thought that it isn’t coercing someone into having sex, because mc and pink hair both get something from this, so I’ve never really realized. I didn’t really know abuse can stretch to that far if things, usually by abuse I think of the basics and never really thought too much on it. Thanks for answering tho

I recently revisited the yaoi I used to read years ago and realised how fucked up they were to the point some genuinely disgusted me and I had no desire to read on. I hadn't seen how bad it was when id first read it. I think our personal perspectives of morality and immorality is constantly changing and evolving.
If I'd read this manhwa a few years ago I'd think "he got consent so it's all fine", whilst I read it now thinking "this consent isn't sincere, it's coerced and not of his true wanting" and so I consider it abusive to the point of SA. It's not bad that you hadn't thought the same thing immediately too! It's about perspectives and how we've judged immorality before.
I'm reading this knowing it's not real but still realising that this is just coerced sex and SA. Cases like these in real life ARE difficult to prevent or legally navigate because it is grey, and because there is technical consent involved
I hope nanjo ends up being the biggest red flag, because if not, then this is just another abuse story told as romance
