I've heard some people read on their phones and book format has smaller and denser text. Which is the only BARELY acceptable reason to me. COUGHgrayscalephobicCOUGH.
It's been like that for the last couple of years. I mean you can see the front page is practically all webtoons, I personally read both, but lately I just haven't been seeing b&w manga advertised. That and we've been getting adaptations like solo leveling, tower of god, lookism, true beauty. The popularity is gonna keep going up. B&w will continue going because anime adaptations keep them popular. I do think b&w stories can be even better than webtoons, but the visuals are a big deal and keeps growing expectations. Some people are just not going to be satisfied going back to b&w
eye problem. I have one, so I'm having a hard time reading mangas, but I forced myself to read because I can't miss out on a good read.
Well for me back then when I use to only read colored and was first gettin into manhwa/ga/hua it was the false advertisement that threw me off nd I think I was js reading for the art now I can say I read a story for a good plot and enjoy b&w too I'm glad I overcame it cs the plots on b&w def be tea
I only read manga on my laptop BC on a phone it jumbles up ifykwim
some people read on phones which makes the format for manga harder to read compared to webtoons being configured to read on phones though i do agree that mangas are very good (maybe even better than manhwas )

I read manga on phone all the time. Just zoom in/out to read the smaller text style. Heard people also dunno how to read manga format?? Like reading left to right, top down is hard or smth?? Honestly it’s a skill issue atp. Level up.

well i mostly read on phone but there are instances where i read on my laptop and mangas imo are better to read on laptops since it’s zoomed in heavily on a laptop screen while on phone it’s manhwa
