Wait, what?! Luce is the ML?! I haven't read the novel, but the story so far here has not even hinted at that, it seemed very clearly to be Youstin! It's been slow burning and getting more blatant! This would have caught me so left field, I wonder what they'll do now!
I was kinda hoping luce becomes the obsessive 2nd male lead who’s full of yearning. You know the handsome successful but giving of a loser kind of vibe that just grew up so hot it makes you double think about the crazy things he do, but still he’s not a male lead and just leaves you full of regret.
That was a lot ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I just checked the official korean novel page for this manhwa, and it turns out that since the duke was so popular even among the korean fanbase, the author wrote a what-if side story where he’s the ML.
I think this gives us hope that maybe they’ll decide to make him the real ML in the manhwa version. But even if they don’t, at least we’ll still be getting SOMETHING.
Personally though, I’m still putting this on hold until it’s completed, just in case they DON'T give him a side story.
