dawg the author is portraying just how insanely strong the scythes and i think they’re called reapers are! it’s showing why the whole COUNTRY is scared of the war in itself too. i think it’s actually smart the way everything’s playing out. we’re just being showed that arthur has the potential to grow and this is where he’s at on the level of the vrivar or however you spell it.
I would agree if he wasn’t training with people who are stronger than the people they were at war like he learned different things from different people he shouldve been on the same level as that venom lady at the very least And then training all day everyday? Well ig not everyone is gonna be like that
ofc he won’t most authors would’ve made him OP with zero losses and that would’ve lost so much traction from the fandom! him not being stronger than his opponents just makes sense imo i guess it just depends on the kind of pacing and how much mc loses and wins ig i feel like they’ve perfectly captured that and now i just want them to be over with the training arc but i get it
No I definitely love mangas like that maybe it’s because of saitama I don’t mind having an op , who doesn’t love a good op manga there’s not enough of them ion have to stress if he’s gonna win or lose I just love when ppl underestimate them and get their behind whipped so satisfying
I stopped reading this at a chapter where he was fighting this venom lady when he just got back from his training I had to stop cuz y he seemed like throughout those years he hasn’t gotten any stronger like he seemed strong in the beginning of the book but than that chapter it was like damn u almost didn’t make it that fast like he trained all day for years straight did he get better after that chapter?
