The Queen was already psychotic as a kid. She fell in love with Noks mom and became obsessed with her. But Noks mom reprimanded her poor behavior. This gave the new queen whiplash and for someone who has ALWAYS gotten her way and is also sick in the head, she couldn't comprehend it. So she wanted to punish and torture the old queen
BUT
never anticipated she would then disappear/die and go to a place she cant reach her w her new powers from the evil spirit.
