ML is a virgin, kind of. When he said he doesn't drink it was because he mistook the other swimmer for MC. He started to have sex with the other swimmer but stopped cause he hurt him (due to his size) and when the swimmer asked him to stop so he didn't get fully inside and or get off. The actor was in Australia when when ML was training there and asked to meet him, ML agreed cause of how much he looked like MC. The actor dyed his hair to make himself look more like MC so ML would sleep with him.

He knows there's no point cause he knows ML's plan. He's just doing it to be a dick and delay the inevitable. ML confides in him because he only has two 'friends', one is the actor and the other is his competitor from Australia.

The way that the actor and the other swimmer look like the MC, but not to the point where you would confuse the them with each other is amazing. Enough similarity that you can total see if, but enough difference that MC can shrug it off. The back story of why the actor looks even more like MC then the swimmer is kind of... eww though
