Well, he was the reason why edgar turned his back against him. But it can't be help why others hate him, it's valid tbh(*>∀<*)
I understand that in the past, Marius is under influenced of og FL, that's why he did what he did.
But, from Edgar pov, his brother became obsessed over a woman that he doing more and more crime, and Leopold is also do suicide because of the same woman. It felt like watching some kind of madness.
not to play devils advocate, but i don't hate marius for his response, if everyone you regard as family and trust ended up being a threat and you ended up killing them, isn't it obvious you'd be automatically wary of anything that could cause the situation to repeat?? like it's not like paranoia is controllable, you can't just switch it off cause it's inconvenient ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ idk i dont hate him at all, rather i pity him and those around him, like edgar
