Trust me, the opposite isn't always ideal, either... There's no point in being encouraged to "do what you love"... when it turns out they also have very clear expectations on what is "the correct way" to do it and, and of what is "the wrong way"... ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

Why are Asian parents even...=_= never ever encourage what we love to do. Always telling us to study study. Ahhhhhhhhhhh......
