Go read fluff if you want that buddy. I fel liek there much more psychological processes going on here, which explain what's happening. I don't see Ian as the bad guy, neither Joe, nor TJ. But Ian and TJ should definitely take their dofferent paths. As of Joe and Ian, currently, it doesn't seem like the most healthy relationship either, but it definitely had great potential.

Well, I'm not saying that you shouldn't hope for whatever you want. And it's understandable of why Ian is seen as the one who ruins Joe's life, which is partially true, but it's never one-sided. Ian never intended to bring Joe into the "gangster" life. Moreover, the author heavily focuses on Ian's internal conflict of him trying to let go of his past, which has brought him guilt for the greater part of his life. With Joe, I could say he almost or even did forget about it, and already though he was ready to start his life anew as an ordinary person, which was what he has always hoped for.
Well, life had other plans with if, and I guess the saying "You can't run from your past" is applicable to this case, the one who spied them was a threat to this new life, mostly to Joe, who became Ian's main focus, whether that's put of pure love, affection or psychological consequences is not really what I will be discussing here, but lets say its a mixture of all of them.
So when anyone is faced with a threat, that's when instincts unlock, and what are Ian's instincts and where did they develop? - They are short-term woth long-term consequences formed during his time in the mafia, self-explainable of the needed attention was given to the chapters.
So that brings us to the end, when Ian tried to stop further problems by creating an even bigger one. But that's what he has always known. And in the end, in his efforts to preserve the life he could have had, he ended up being the one to bring it to its destruction. Thus, jusy keeping going in cycles over and over again in his fight against his past.
This is Love or Hate all over again, LMAO. In that manga too I rooted for the toxic dudes to end up with each other and just leave the second ML out of their drama. I hope this one ends like LoH too. Let TJ and Ian be together while Jo gets a new love interest in the future. Pretty please. Jo is going to be entwined with Ian's drama for the rest of his life if they end up together. He deserves better than that.
