I don't think anyone's being dramatic here. I think we should be allowed to feel upset for characters in tough situations, which the mc is in. Stories SHOULD invoke emotions yk? This is no different, even if it's a smutty bl fiction. Adding onto that, most of the people in these comments like actual relationship development, not this manipulationy-feeling coming from the ml, so ofcourse they might be upset.. Though, I understand what you're getting at and no hate!
