That reminds me of caste heaven, there's ranking in their school being seme the king however the uke is not the prince but rather the bottom of the ranks itself. Not sure if that's you're looking for but yeah your description reminds me of it

Ok I remember reading a yaoi a long time ago and I can't seem to find it. It was about two popular university student, nicknamed Prince and Emperor (or something like this). They end up sleeping together and you follow their relationship. At one point there is a graduated student (popular guy as well) who comes back and Emperor doesn't like his closeness to Prince.
