Tbh same reading yaois like 10 years now still can't get over this genre straight stories don't do for me
for me its a 80-20 now , like every once in a while i do read non bl stories , but now im veryyy picky with non bl stuff
Oh I get you. Sometimes I do read other genre but only action with no romance. Unless it’s yaoi/shounen ai then it’s all good.

I cant really pin point why I became bored with straight romance now where in fact I do love it back then. Got tired of it maybe. But I wonder if it’s quite different with BL in terms of story. I cant really determine the differences
Ohh that’s quite long! I’m in my 5th year reading haha. My friend recommended it to me in pandemic. I was bored and she opened my fascination with a new genre lol
I m reading and watching yaoi since 2015 i first watched yaoi anime on Youtube i probably be around 13 year old that time then discovered manga websites where i have read bunch of yaois that time there were no manhwas back then so mangas are my frvt. My first yaoi was ai no kusabi never found anything legendary and masterpiece like that.
The moment I tried reading BL stories I became uninterested with other genres. Am I the only one? Lol
