I’m not defending this dumpster fire BUT
I will say that judging from the setting and scraps of world building they’re not exactly in the “modern era” and promiscuity was shamed even more in the past than it is now. I think there’s also some very classic patriarchal sexism going on (ya love to see it) as Louis is on the receiving end which seems to sort of “womanize” him in the eyes of the general public. Not a perfect explanation bc the world building is ass but just my take
Also what's with the constant slut shaming??? I get why the duke would say that because he's practically scraping the bottom of the barrel because he's an ass but why would the people around the mc always perceives him as a slut???
Ok the only people vocal about it is mettel and the duke, but I get the feeling that Sabrina, the sister (Joan), and a bunch of other extras sees mc as a slut.
I'm so pissed off about the ml slut shaming tho like aren't you Inlove with this person? Why are you constantly calling him that? Tf? It's like you think he only saw him for his body. Am I overthinking this?? It's so weird.
