The novel is entertaining! I had a good time reading it, but don't expect anything even remotely close to a normal relationship.
Luce does end up happy at the end of the novel. Ail barely changes and he does suffer but not enough imo. The other characters make it really worth it though. Luce's friends and his mom are awesome.
