He was a huge egoistic asshole at the beginning of the story and because of his premarital affairs Rania and Hayden suffered a lot.. if you read the story your blood will boil at how much of an asshole he was.. his ex gf laura plotted a huge revenge plan which almost caused them their lives, Hayden got attacked in the streets because people thought he was a bastard child and their mansion was bombed as a revenge plan where rania almost got burned... And not only that during war Benedict left Rania for years and never wrote a single letter to her when she kept sending letters to him asking for his whereabouts.. even when the navy had big royal parties where all the wives and families of the navy officers were invited, Rania was never invited and when she went to one just to talk or get a glimpse of him, this dude practically ignored her existence and never showed up, mind it she was pregnant at that time..so she was running around being 5/6 months pregnant to get infos about her husband from other people... She went through huge trauma and stress while she was pregnant with Hayden.. and when Hayden was born he still didn't come back... Only when the war ended he showed his face, Hayden could say a few words at that time because he already became a toddler and he called him Daddy (because Rania would show Hayden a picture of Benedict and tell him that's his dad) which made his heart soften for Hayden.. so he decided to act as a parent even though he thought Hayden was a bastard child... And people are still stuck with Rania's cheating act, any other girl would have left his ass.. she loved him very much and wanted Hayden to have a family so she stayed and suffered.. fun fact is, only after the cheating act Benedict finally started to notice or recognize Rania... Because he thought of Rania as an expensive object that was getting snatched by his half brother..

Yeah, but people will try to justify it since it didnt lead to sex. Remember people cheating is an act of lying towards your spouse. There is this called emotional cheating and just cheating, and rania did both. It doesnt matter if she didnt loved landen she had the intent to lie to her husband to hurt him thats emotional cheating and as long as she kissed the man who is not her husband thats automatically cheating. She suffered alot I mean both of them did, Im not a bias person so I think its fair to say that they did alot of things that caused the misunderstandings, but do I judge them for it? No, some of their actions are understandable even if its so annoying.
Also if anyone says the cheating is fake, yall have never been in relationships, do yall know how it feels to be cheated on?! Its the worst feeling in the whole world you actually feel like you want to die. That happened to me so I know how it feels, there are times where you are not even aware you are crying, or you want to stop crying but it seems the tears just keep falling and you have no idea how to stop it. It also come along with alot of mental stress, self doubt and trust issues. It could even lead to suicide if it escalated much worst.
