Exactly!! I said this several chapters ago. The MC was so sad thinking about how he has no one to talk to about his relationship, no one to confide in, and being scared of everyone's reactions when everyone already freaking knows!! They've had meetings, discussions, and all of that with the ML behind his back, so everyone freaking knows except for the poor MC. Honestly, I was so pissed, but everyone here is acting like it's so normal and sweet of the ML.
The more I think about it, the more it is obvious Chaeheon could have done right by communicating with jeongyoon about his feelings. That's all it could have taken for jeongyoon to feel less sad about the situation. Chaeheon could have bridged the two sides, who are obviously believing different things. Jeongyoon believing it's better to hide because he's scared of the potential hate. His family believing its better to hide because they think their son is scared to come out. Both sides impact each other's decision making and chaeheon with the knowledge, decides to keep hiding it. Like why would you do that knowing your lover is in pain. Pretending there isnt an issue won't solve it. But some people really are supporting his behavior because they believe being lied to and hiding the matter, is better than communicating and heading toward a more mutual understanding of each other's feelings. In a relationship where you don't communicate your concerns and mask it up by lies and deceit, that's called being in an unhealthy relationship. Hope chaeheon supporters wake up soon. Chaeheon outing jeongyoon without is knowledge should be the wake up call.
Absolutely. Especially after this latest chapter when the ML tells the friend to not tell the MC, because it would worry him and because they would have nothing to talk about... like what? No, they would have a lot to talk about. The MC would like to have someone knowing and talking about it. Idk, for me it just feels like the ML isn't telling the MC because of his possessiveness and honestly a bit of selfishness there too. Like sure, he can say that he wants to protect the peace or whatever, but he's not really treating the MC as an equal in this way
he's definitely selfish. if he truly believes not having others know would worry jeongyoon less, then he wouldn't have coerced him into having sex while everyone is on the other side of the door. imagine if they were awake. jeongyoon would have been outed and this would have worried jeongyoon way more. the inconsistency with his "protective" behavior only benefits his own ego. jeongyoon was never an equal, just an infantilized partner.
