not worth it imo. it was good at the start but progressively got worse by the end. i wish i could have all my time and the emotional investment i put into this back.

the part i hated most was that as revenge for the guy who had mc raped many times, the "green flag" ml gang raped his older brother. absolutely vile shit i was so horrified. worst part is that the author, the readers and the characters alike all justify it even tho he (the man who got raped bc of the ml) never did anything wrong, it was all his younger brother's doing. there were so many goddamn rape scenes in here it's genuinely hard to get through.

the good things i can think abt is like the art is really gorgeous and the mc is a sweetheart

well he wasn't exactly innocent, i believe he was also part of the sex trafficking trope. so technically "rape the dude that was pulling that shit" is partially right haha. it was evil revenge but looking at how evil and annoying the younger brother was begging for forgiveness was quite satisfying.

i haven't read a married man but i read missing love which is absolutely traumatising and lack of love until the last few chapters.

pearl boy was pretty sweet from start to end imo, except for parts where the villain plots and the angst and rape comes in. all of the issues with the red flag villain gets resolved and mc ml gets their own happy ending!!! i actually re-read cause the art style and smut is actually a blessing.

he wasn't innocent in the slightest, that commenter is ur causal incest shipper. dont listen to them. those 2 twins literally didnt gaf about jooha (the mc) being graped constantly by the younger one, and the older one was managing it. they deserved dooshiks revenge, fuck them.

Missing Love is A Married Man. That had me def scarred for life. I was bawling my eyes out and getting dehydrated. I also stopped reading at one point and I am too scared to touch it again. I will get to it eventually because despite the angst, it's super good.

I have always seen the hype for Pearl Boy but I just don't want to get scarred again. I used to eat up all the fucked up shit as a kid/teen, but now as I get older, I just want fluffy romance.

I have read all of the ones you suggested in the end hehe. But yeah maybe one day I will start Pearl Boy and finish it in one go. I had doubts about Low Tide in Twilight and I hated how it was at first but the redemption arc for Taeju was pretty good so I liked it.
