While I do agree with your first point, I will say that there is a big difference between being and actor/model where you are adored by fans from a distance vs Toru where he is specifically acting in a way to encourage individuals to like him so that they choose him as a designated host.
As for your second, I do want people to keep in mind that Mizuki specifically asks Toru if he wants to do this multiple times and Toru is the one that wants to get the nipple piercing because he likes making Mizuki happy. He even gives Toru the option of backing out last minute, but Toru still goes through with it.
That’s a good point, there is a difference between being adored from afar and being loved bc of how a person acts in order to be chosen in order to become a top host.
Overall I liked this manga but there were just a few things that just irked me, and after reading I have to air them out. not that I necessarily need a response.
So our Dom Mizuki wants our bottom Toru-san to essentially quit his job because he doesn't like how he thinks how others look at him, fall in love with him and him giving them attention and stuff like that. Like Toru is being paid to be charming which turns him into a top host.
Which would normally id be fine with except Dom Mizuki himself is a model and an actor who has a TON of popularity and is loved a lot by the general public. Do you see HIM quitting his job??

Uke also hates pain and our top basically makes him go along with his selfishness to get not one but BOTH of his nipples pierced. Ugh.
ukes is kind of a push over in that he's not good at saying 'No' when he's uncomfortable with something, well initially he does say 'No' but it wasn't a firm NO. but I think it should still count. Like with the n*pple piercing thing.
