I got a crazy theory, I'm 90 % sure the King and Prince are 1 in the same person. The reason being the King probably knew that his Mage friend was a dragon and knew the dragon would outlive him,so he came up with a plan where he could be reincarnated, because remember how he said anyone who has white hair and red eyes will get his name. Anyway, he probably knows once he reincarnates his memories will be wiped out, and he didn't want to forget his man, so he probably split him self in half, one dark and one half light. The Dark one has his memories because he's obsessed with the Dragon while his light half probably is his selfless side in short,t he probably will die for the dragon IDK. Or it could be the reason why he split is because it's the price he has to pay for messing with life and death reincarnation IDK. Like I said it's a crazy theory
