The thing is mc's mom was always gonna be like that. Yes sol used her...but the mom wanted her to. She wanted sol to keep crawling back to her like a dog begging for scraps. But she also wanted an equal. She liked sol but she also thought of sol as her property. She got mad at sol for running back to be abused but she was also abusive. I feel like her mom is made of contradictions. The mom also killed sol so naturally and easy I don't know of it was her first time,
Also the husband...he was backed into a corner. He knew mom didn't love him anymore and she and him both grew gradually more toxic towards each other. I don't blame him for cheating he was being abused.... a bad thing to do to a loving partner which she wasn't. She also didn't really care he cheated. And he couldn't even divorce her cause she was thinking of her public image and refused.
Pure cinema like been so long since I read this kind of masterpiece like but honestly I know how her mom is psychopath but she kinda wants good for her daughter cause if we think how her mum got betrayed by her friend(sol) who choose crazy bf over her and only came to somi(mc mum) when she was in trouble that is honestly really bad for her and even her husband betrayed her by cheating on her and what is sad that mc doesn't know of this that her dad cheated on her mum and even mc mum parents we see how they choose her brother(mc uncle )over her mum(somi) honestly I feel mc mum is psychopath because of her background and don't want her daughter to go through same fate as her . Can't really wait for more chapters
