feeling iffy

yeah idk was totally unboard for watching his gradual development but slapping him is crazy. just outright abuse? i’m confused why we’re romanticising this. i’m not sure if it’s because the translations are inaccurate but i’m struggling to understand his motivation for any of his actions. having a tough childhood doesn’t make up of for being a crappy person. i’m hoping there’s some sort of character development. but right now blondie has no redeeming qualities

i understand he has self-sabotaging tendencies and is a complex character. i enjoy dark characters, but just feels like he lacks depth

I agree with this but at the same time i feel like it fits for a teenage character in a way. Seeing the 23 year old play him at his own game really reminds readers that Jiho is a child and has a bunch of feelings he doesnt know how to feel and communicate.

He is a teen he is a mess and he is alone, the way he acts is horrible and everyone knows (even himself). The thing is, will he grow up to be a horrible person (like the brother) or will he change?

Hes a self centered, self sabotaging, self everything teenager. He slapped him because he knows he can and also because its kind of like... "Ya followed me around, knelt to my feet and listened to every word of mine but have no desire for me!?" Idk dude needs some self reflection. Either wayyy hajma I still can't hate him cause the fact is he's told him a plethora of times to leave but he's the one to sticks to him like glue so. They're both dumb in their own right

completely agree!! i think that helped it put everything into perspective that at the end of the day he is a confused teen with a bunch of big feelings, who’s kind of just going about things in the wrong way. that scene was so satisfying

yes!! hoping he’ll change, the slap was just a bit too much for me. but yes he’s a complete mess, interested to see where it goes and how he’ll be later on

you’re so so right about them both being dumb like you said he’s warned him so many times yet he still stays around. that makes sm sense, him slapping him shows hows he’s unable to comprehend someone not acting on their desires when given the chance. based on his past experience (nurse etc.) he’s probably used to people jumping at the chance to use/ be with him. so to have someone refuse him and put him first instead of their own desires is unfathomable
