He's doing all this in the name of revenge but if you read the novel, you'll know that he still has feelings for Kwon Jiwook and is so obsessed with him.

Yes, they did I believe. I could be totally wrong but I think they actually live pretty happily in the end. Screwed up stuff of course, but I felt like the last few chapters had a “light at the end of the tunnel” conclusion opposed to both just falling into mental sickness. Kinda like a “we’ve both suffered enough and just want to be happy after forgiving” kind of thing.
