it’s wild how the artist dropped the ball as hard as they did. when you read the novel there’s no way you’d end up wanting him with anyone other than shinje, but the artist barely cared about the novel or the actual main couple and it shows. a really shitty adaption to a novel i loved.

i wish i lived in the alternate universe where the artists who adapted roses and champagne or passion were the ones to adapt profundus. i’ll be mad as hell about it forever.

I so get you. This adaptation was not really "it" because I honestly love the dynamic of yugeon with shinje in the novel. I would hundred times read the novel all over again than this manhwa adaptation

Isn’t shinje who he’s with now?

Yeah but the adaptation didn't really give a justice on their story

fr the artist skipped over every cute scene where we were shown how shinje feels about yugeon, didn’t add nearly as much internal dialogue as they should’ve since they kept skipping the small moments that showed character development, completely hollowed out yugeon and made him seem like he had no backbone and no toughnesss. such a let down… tbh i feel bad toward the author of the novel because if my work was handled like this i’d be so upset.
