Diana’s heart was shattered when Kael himself exposes the temple’s crime right in front of Diana at an imperial meeting, even Helios and Hestia was not expecting that. At the very end, Diana doesn’t get anything and went back to the temple. Everyone around gets a happy ending. It’s mostly shown in the side story of the novel, but Kael and Hestia conceives a child, and in the middle of Hestia’s pregnancy Helios divorces Diana after giving her a choice whether to stay married to him and give him an heir or divorce, she chose divorce. Helios immediately gets engaged to a new girl named Juno, someone who is very competent and just a way better person than Diana. Diana actually stays in the imperial palace for a bit, bc the emperor insisted, who at this point is bedridden unfortunately. basically, Diana’s punishment was witnessing everyone around her get their happy ending, Kael personally meets the bedridden emperor with his 100 days old son, and Diana witnesses that. She also witnesses Helios getting engaged to another woman. When the emperor passes away, Helios and his wife Juno immediately conceives a child, and the empire rejoices. Diana is left to see the people who she tried to change their views get their own happy ending while she goes back to the shitty temple.

Wow, she really got smacked in the face. I was hoping the temple said bye bye to her too while being destroyed for being extremely money hungry and not helping the people . But I'll take it. Ty.
reading it the way you wrote makes me feel better about the ending. when I was reading the novel it felt like she didn’t suffer enough for me lol by the time the divorce came around it seemed like she wasn’t bothered .

I hope Diana gets a worse punishment of all. She covets both men and craves to be in the center of attention as she believes god chose her. Sure, let's just say god did. But god is definitely leaving her ass behind bc she is beyond greedy, believes everything she do is righteous, everyone is below her, doesn't listen to anyone, isn't kind to no one, and doesn't see her mistakes. I hope in the manhwa, Diana gets a shocker that she was abandoned due to her greed. I also hope the manhwa explains the reincarnation part. I realized that the novel never had the two tiny angel and devil.
