He was blaming himself bc he thinks the dude in coma lost his job in the first place bc of his drug scandal(they were in the same company before) he pitied him and got him the role when they were reshooting the movie and that's when the accident happend. Plus he realized he didnt cared if mc did it or not even if it meant his friend dying. So he feels responsible.

I just think ML is worse because he kept being insistent with someone who clearly didn’t want to associate with him anymore, being very pushy, and he did rape in side story, I don’t remember too much but ML got jealous and took him to the bed, MC did not consent beforehand.

And when it ended he hit him and warned him that if he ever does this again there will be consequences and he let this happen as a one time thing.
