    Love is unconditional and it’s not something you can always choose or control. It’s not always something that makes much sense. That’s why they say that love makes people do crazy things. It’s not something you can understand until you go through it yourself. Once you’ve been in love like that you would know for sure what it’s like.

    What does that have to do with Stockholm syndrome? I’m confused. I was just stating why someone could love another even when they are treated poorly by that person. That doesn’t mean they have Stockholm syndrome lol.

    It’s a psychological response (coping mechanism) that develops in victims of abuse or capacity, causing them yo have positive feelings towards their captors. Which makes no sense here since the mc isn’t a victim of forced capacity and he loved the other mc before he was ever abusive.

    I also wasn’t talking about that in the first place anyways. I was just stating why someone could fall for another when they aren’t treated nicely. That doesn’t ultimately mean abusive or capacity. It could mean that they’re just simply mean. That’s why I’m confused you brought it up. It just doesn’t fit in this situation (this story) or with what I had said before (my first comment),
