The reason they wanted to kill him (the father and the son) was because some of their subordinates (I suppose a pretty big group) were opposed to the hair becoming the next boss when MC was way more powerful. They had to kill him so that this group wouldn't try to do something in order to male MC an heir I suppose

+ ML is very obsessed with MC lol... he wants MC to be his and his alone
+ there's noncon in this so beware of that. it was a pretty short story and they had a rough start so the romance wasn't for me :/
+ i feel like the plot could've been executed better since i just never understood why they, MC's mafia org, wanted to kill him so bad... i get it, he might betray or what but he found a sense of belonging to the group so why the hell would he do that
+ ig the reason why they both ended up together is because MC felt needed and he had a sense of purpose by being with ML. though, i still feel like they're a bit toxic lol art's good though !!
