I disagree... he should receive a punishment but not death. I would agree with him being exiled from the town to mend for himself. But murdering him is cruel and extreme
Why not send the guy out of town to retrieve the medical supplies he stole ? Yes it’s dangerous and the result might just be a disguised death sentence but at least he could try to redeem himself ? And I doubt he would abandon his child if he went to that extent to cure him.
Um, let's see, the world is crawling with undead, a small makeshift town was made to survive, medical supplies are low, the father steals some medical supplies, and the father is punished for his actions. It sounds hearted, but ngl if there was a rule that everyone gets a limited amount of medical supplies and the majority goes to the ppl who go out to retrieve more supplies and such, and those who break that rule are punished with death. I'd vote for that bc 1. Sets an example 2. Prevents said person on doing it again or stealing other supplies or rations
