Why not having morals is a thing in a post apocalyptic era ? He has every reason to crash out. Okay the dude I don't remember the name shouldn't have stolen the medicine, but he could just have been banned or something there is no need to kill (much less with a stick wth ???)
I get your point and yes his father instincts kicked in and he broke the rules. But if we were to take it further, let's say they banish him and some how or the other, he survives and even made new friends or groups and like he got a thrist for revenge and bitterness, so then he could've created problems for the other survivors or destroy their sanctuary. I don't think i would've raised my hand if i was there but I'd hate the man for taking the limited medicine and breaking the rules.Anyways i was pointing more of it towards teach yk.
