I love this story too. It is perfect with actions, trainings and lil romance. Like you, I also forget it's suppose to be bl. Hahaha.
I forget this is even a BL. It’s a perfectly wonderful isekai. Until the moments when he is a little too handsy with Shane, is a little too kind, and smiles a little too much and you can almost see the yandare possessive tendrils leaking out. Then he quickly slams the lid on it and it disappears before Shane has a chance to even look twice.
