
REAL. ive been raised the way he has but honestly i love it because it shows you the different ways trauma will take you. you either become the abuser or you break the cycle somehow. it gives him a real, authentic way of being the “villain”, because the readers can ACTUALLY sympathize and feel for him. its complex and i LOVE ITTTTTT.

downvoted by accident but I agree it's nice he's not portrayed as an inherently evil character but rather has religious trauma and stuff. But I also do think garam's parents are not exactly angels BUT he isn't an asshole to the people around him. idk I can't exactly sympathize with the scum coz how he turned out WAS UPTO HIM at the end of the day. But I do understand that well things go differently for different people
I know I'm scum for this but I genuinely feel bad for Sehan. he's still a piece of shit for all the things he did in the present but like religious trauma is real man. he was just a kid when all that shit originally went down
