Sadistic beauty side story didn’t end like that the mc realized he got no family, friends, money, work or a home. So either he becomes a hobo or deals with a male lead aka a cry baby who regrets everything he’s done? Of course the mc chooses to stay cuz at the end he was still trapped due to the male lead and even his own life choices. Also I heard they’re not from the same author only the illustrator are the same.
But to the og question I heard from novel readers that due to the mc who has been constantly gang raped over and over (due to someone taking revenge aka male lead) he has gotten scared of anyone and has trust issues so he only clinches onto the male lead because he thinks he’s his protector.
Bad. Nothing good. If it follows the novel, MC was abused, to the point he was accepting the abused out of fear he got gang rape again. He attempted suicide, but the ML wont allow it. In the original novel, ML forced him to have sex with a dog, later change it into sex machine cuz of the slash the author got.. so yeah. Many times i said it, the ML is the spawn of satan

Since you've given me your sign of approval I will respectfully disagree with the notion that they lived happily ever after in SB. But you are absolutely correct in that someone who is as abusive as Wookyung could ever change and become a healthy, functioning partner. Minho knows that WK will never change, but opts to stay with him because WK has broken him down so much that he believes that he is the only person who loves him. Even if Minho were to find a new job, he would have his plagiarism as a permanent black stain on his career. Even if he were to find new friends, he probably wouldn't be able to trust them after the metric ton of trauma he went through. Not to mention the last time he tried to make friends, they gang raped him. I don't consider the ending to be happy at all. It's just textbook abuse victim resigning themselves to stay with the abuser who isolated and psychologically destroyed them. All this is compounded by the fact that Minho isn't even gay. He doesn't reciprocate Wookyung's feelings and never will.
