That's true,a friend of my brother got into a fight to defend his friend(or cousin i forgot)and he was the one who got suedwhen the guy was the first to attack his friend...(im brazilian too)

Here in Brasil is like this too, if someone who is drunk attack you or someone and you beat him to protect yourself or for another reason (but you are sober) you take the blame...
