long message but i also wanted to join in the age gap discourse after reading some comments. we just need one more chapter update to be caught up with the raws and then going into a hiatus. i know the age gap between the two mains is quite... big and questionable in a moral sense BUT like others speculate, i do think that a time skip will be what we're looking at when the webtoon comes back for its second season lmao. but what i wanted to talk about was that i feel like the age gap isn' t like a back burner thing in this story but one of the main aspects, and really helps the narrative of the story imo. sure, both of the main leads are at very different points in their life and like how could a 25 yr old relate to a 19 yr old and vice versa but that's the thing, they are learning, helping and benefitting from each other (and not in a romantic sense which might come from the second half of the story). fl became a lot more confident with herself after meeting ml bc of his reckless behavior as someone who is young and doesn't overthink about the consequence that can come with it and in term fl encouraged and supported ml to think twice about leaving dance in a fit of rage just to defy his mother and made him realize that he truly did have a passion for dance and was happy doing for himself (older = wiser i guess but also fl having to give up on her dream of writing to make her mother happy and not herself), so i say rather than focusing at the "outrageous" age gap, read the story bc fl has and recently stated boundaries between the two, like just in this episode where she tells him that he can't call her noona, only ms bang. but listen if the age gap is bothersome, just drop it and stop filling the comments with facts everyone knows. ^___^
while everyone argues about the age gap and such… girl ur fashion sense might’ve improved but please never wear those horrendous sandals with socks again PLEASE
