Correct actually, the original story is from a novel of the same name by Jangryang (same author as Kill the Lights). There are still two more sequels to this novel, Mirror of Targo and Wizard of Oz, though it's still unclear if they'll illustrate those two as well
Are those two novels still about Zigril/Kay or other characters?
Same author as kill the lights? What happened for them to change and make a red flag love story. I was absolutely obsessed kill the lights, the top was a bit ahole to others but he was absolutely a darling to his bottom though he was still needy like zigril
Mirror of Targo is about Zigril looking for the mirror capable of showing one's true thoughts to find out whether Kay actually likes him or not. I haven't read Wizard of Oz yet but apparantly it's about their son Oz (I presume after he grew up)
My thoughts exactly when I first read the novel lol, but Jangryang also wrote Who's Your Daddy which had a pretty sketchy top, so I think they just like to write a top that's in the red flag spectrum

this honestly just feels like a test run or something, because that artist have a talent above average. but the story just so so
I don't even know the author or the artist is the same person or not.
hopefully comes with better story next time.
