He's literally the opposite of the trope of being a great husband but a terrible father *ahem ahem* Claude in who made me a princess.
Not that I like the dad but feels like he might have changed a bit if he knew about their daughter, like that scene was his honest reaction… still a scum tho. Pity.
I think a perfect revenge is when he starts to become attached to his daughter and she never forgives him so he has to live his whole life regretting everything… or smth haha
