i was not my intension to disrespect anyone, i was just wondering why is it not completed for over 20 years!! most of the mangas was not completed because of the Authors death. thats way i asked
so i guess we will not see the ending ever, i guess the author just retired cuz of the sickness and we did not even see any information for coming back
It was never stated that she didn't continue writing because if physical/mental health. This manga has been on hiatus for 16 years already. Author herself never stated why she stopped but in 2022 during one of Nana exhibitions she promised to finish it one day. Will that happen? Who knows.
Major speculation is that she stopped working on it because manga got a lot of negative critics because of portraying toxic relationship and mental health struggles. Something that Japanese teenagers (and adults as well) suffer from. Su*cide rate in Japan is huge and public pressure can be harsh on any media portraying such things (nit that I support such pressure on authors, only fault is on social system and government tho)
thanks for replying, i wish there were no sadness in the manga, i was enjoyed watching the anime but i regreting that i looked in the manga, i was expecting more happness and she did a tragedy on the most calm and lovely person wich i was so dissapointed and i wish i never new the details that not shown in the anime
