Who knows. The only way these types of stories survive is when they have 2 ML pitted against each other, and you have no clue whose going to be on top until the end.
Im just really salty about generic this is.
If you like the usual story... go ahead. But I think this will follow the cookie cutter pattern of "Oh no green tea b*tch, I will save my family... new dark and mysterious ML???"
Maybe even progress to "Hold on.. I am the sainteness??" Which is just a guess.
