Yeah, I just read that chapter too and it makes a lot of sense why Tehir views kimotos kindness as kimoto looking down on him. It's because that's what Tehir was doing with his own kindness.
And that's why he can't stand Kimoto or Jin. Because Kimoto is supposed to be weak and is now in a position to look down on Tehir and Jin was stronger than Tehir to begin with.
