there's no "tea" per se, they are just a super exclusive group and refuse to share their scans/translations
at the end of the day it's their effort so their call if they want to share or not, i personally don't care
i said "infamous" because their decision is frowned upon since every other group shares their scans for free, essentially harudaki group is generally not liked by people in the scanlation community

In addition, the group is kind of annoying on Mangaupdates. It's fine if they don't want to share their translations, but they should not be marking fan translated works as completely translated just because THEY finish translating it. Like what are they advertising their translated chapters for? There's literally no point in telling others outside of the group

and it discourages other groups from picking up a project because they think the manga is already translated by harudaki
they should definitely stop updating on mangaupdates if they have no intention of sharing, no one would know they exist and they can do their own thing in private

Vol 2 has actually been scanlated and translated by a scanlating group. But the problem is, they sort of kinda became a members only group. Tried to join way back but they no longer accept members unless you are working with them or want to work with them. Basically, if you are or will be part of their team to work on mangas and such. So kinda impossible for us who just wants to read
