Listen, I'm not the biggest fan of Taegu being a love interest but it's irking me. Commenters calling Taegu a pedo and groomer forget that 1) he is barely making moves on Yeongwoon who is in his mid-20s, and 2) the most TG did for YW was financially support him through employment. It was never shown that TG raised YW or acted as a father figure. If anything, TG is like the shady, neighbourhood older brother figure that was half-involved in YW's life. TG has not been shown to be predatory towards YW when he was a middle schooler or a minor.
IDK it just seems like everyone is so quick to hate TG, when Seo-in has had non-consensual sex with YW more than once. (His tragic backstory contextualises, but does not excuse his actions.) I want to see where the author takes this story, rather than rushing to criticise their narrative decisions. Either way, YW deserves better love interests lol.
EDIT: not sure why I have to make this disclaimer but, YES, IT IS WEIRD that there are implications TG likes YW, who he first met as a child. But using very serious language (paedophilia & grooming) in relation to TG just because you think Seo-in is better or you just don't like TG, fails to recognise real-life behaviours that actually denote psychological abuse. They're not just buzzwords. BTW, I am prepared to eat my words if TG turns out to be an actual abuser.
Also, I mentioned Seo-in's actions earlier because some commenters are trying to take the moral high ground by labelling TG a predator, but then completely forget that YW is in love with someone who has FORCED him to have oral and anal sex multiple times.
