My stance has always been this: 2-D characters are not sentient they’re not realistic and they don’t exist, they aren’t experiencing anything. I don’t believe in shaming people for what kind of mangas they like or read, and I don’t equate that to who they are as people, that’s a narrow mindedness world view.
