That hits close to home for me, at least Shima's mom understans what she did wrong, mine still gets mad that I don't tell her my plans or secrets, even tho everytime I did she either mocked me or told everyone without a care.
I can’t feel bad about Shima’s mom. At some point if you keep mistreating your kid, they’re not going to confide in you. You lose that trust. It’s good that she at least understands that, unlike other parents who just wonder why their child won’t open up. She really mellowed out, but it was too late
